The Opium Wars

"From 1839 to 1842, China fought what we now call the "Opium Wars" with Britain". china is a vary old country for a vary long time they believed that they were the center of the world also they didn't need anything form any other country.

       by the 18Th century England has Begin to import mass amounts of tea and silk from china. the Chinese  want to be paid only in gold and silver. also, china did not buy much from England. This means that was send a lot of gold and silver out of the country. this had to stop England had to find something that they could sell to china. At first that Chinese government refused to allow opium into china this lead to the first opium war which the chinese lost because the britsh had better ships and weapons. as a result of  had to give up hong kong , and to open other to trade  with england

simon bolivearis knowed for freeing large spots in south america from spanish control.they were being ruled by king jospph the was french. simon was born in july 24, 1783 caraca, venezuela. . As a teenager he was sent to collage in spain. later he went to eruope then to the united states.

this shows that both men believed in democracy was the form of government because the people choose the government

the church theroy came out first then people started to question the theroy thats how the scientific theroy came to be. the scientific theroy was proven right. the church theroy was the solar system revoled around earth. Galileo was the the first person to say that sun was the center of the universe he was brought to trial for it. what he believed in went against the Catholic church thats why he was put on trial

the steps to the scientific method are 1. study some aspect of the universe 2. make a perdiction 3. keep running test 4. record resuits 5. draw up an conclusion the scientist use to experimant

to me the scientific method is to write down what you observed from what your perdiction is. you have to keep testing it until all the result come out the same way no matter who tests it out

evolution vs creationism

evolution means that humens evoled from gorillas. Into cavemen then into modern man.
the man that came up with this theroy is charles darwin he made a book named the origen of species saying the same thing.


creationism is the idea that god made earth and eveything on it the way it is now. creationism also believe that god made adam and eve the first humens on earth were just the offspring of them. creationism is a religious belief thats thats why so many people in the world believe in god


i believe in creationism because it makes more sence because people believe karma and bad and good luck and miracles. why not believe in god.
